Basic SIBO Protocol: A protocol for naturally treating SIBO effectively.
SIBO happens when bacteria that are supposed to stay in your large intestine start growing in your small intestine, where they don’t belong. Most treatments only address the bacteria, and almost none address why it happened. That’s why so many people go through rounds of antibiotics, diets, and supplements… and it keeps coming back.

What is SIBO?
If you feel like your body reacts to everything you eat…If you’re bloated no matter how “clean” your diet is…If you’ve been given multiple diagnoses but still don’t feel better…
There’s a strong chance something deeper is being missed. One of the most overlooked root causes I see in practice is SIBO: Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth.

Oregano Oil
Oregano oil is most beneficial for individuals dealing with signs of microbial imbalance. This often includes symptoms such as bloating, gas, irregular bowel movements, persistent sugar cravings, brain fog, and chronic fatigue. It is commonly used in cases of suspected or confirmed small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, candida overgrowth, or recurrent infections. Individuals who frequently rely on antibiotics or who have a history of gut dysfunction may also benefit from tar

Allicin
Allicin is most beneficial for individuals experiencing symptoms of bacterial overgrowth or microbial imbalance. This often includes bloating, gas, constipation, irregular bowel movements, and abdominal discomfort. It is commonly used in protocols for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, particularly when methane producing organisms are suspected. Individuals who struggle with slow digestion or constipation dominant symptoms may respond especially well.

Neem
Neem has strong anti inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which help calm immune activation and protect tissues from oxidative stress. This makes it beneficial not only for gut health but also for skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and other inflammatory concerns.
Additionally, neem has been used to support blood sugar balance, though this is a secondary effect compared to its antimicrobial and detox roles.

Berberine
Berberine is especially helpful for individuals dealing with blood sugar dysregulation. This includes those experiencing frequent cravings, energy crashes, difficulty losing weight, or elevated fasting glucose or A1C levels. It is commonly used in cases of insulin resistance, prediabetes, and metabolic syndrome. Women with hormone imbalances such as PCOS may also benefit, as insulin resistance is often a driving factor behind those conditions.
